According To The Representatives, Amber Heard And Jason Momoa Did Not Have Any Chemistry
In 2018, Amber Heard portrayed Mera in the movie adaptation of Aquaman. It appears that her time in the second film was reduced to approximately ten minutes as a result of the defamation trial that she was involved in with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp. It would appear that agents are now claiming that she did not have any chemistry with Jason Momoa, who plays Aquaman himself.
Recent statements made by Heard’s agent to the press suggest that the lack of chemistry between Heard and Momoa was the primary factor in the decision to scale back her role in the film. The legal proceeding got underway when Depp decided it was necessary to sue Heard for defamation. In 2018, she contributed an opinion piece to the Washington Post in which she discussed her decision to leave an abusive marriage. Even though she never revealed the fact that they were married, everyone was aware of it, and Depp claims that because of her, he has missed out on a lot of opportunities.
After being cast as Mera in the Justice League movie that came out in 2017, Amber went on to star in the Aquaman film. The sequel is supposed to earn her $2 million, but there have only been about ten minutes of the movie completed so far, so that number is still up in the air. Not only did her agent claim that there was no chemistry between the two of them, but she also mentioned that Heard’s career hasn’t exactly taken off in the same way that Momoa’s has.
The representative for Heard was quoted in the press as saying, “In my experience… After an event like that, your career goes in a different direction. The audience responded extremely positively to her performance in the film at the time; everyone was pleased with her performance, and there were no problems. Then, to have a complete turn for the worse after that, and then to have that coincide with constant tweets and negativity put out about her… I don’t have a physical piece of paper of evidence, but it’s the only logical conclusion I draw.
Her agent also mentioned that since the trial, Heard has been dropped from a role in a new film that was produced by Amazon. It would appear that the trial has been quite disruptive to the lives of Mr. Depp and Ms. Heard in a variety of ways.
This court proceeding is being watched by people from all over the world, and it would appear that everyone is taking a position in the case. Who will ultimately prevail in this dispute and come out on top can only be determined by the passage of time. No matter what happens, it seems as though there will be some debts to pay, and no one is certain whether or not these two will get more work after everything has been said and done.
