On Friday, General Motors disclosed that the company is now holding 95,000 automobiles that were assembled without computer chips or other components. According to the corporation, the majority were produced in the month of June.

In a file with the regulatory authorities, GM explained the delay by saying that it was due to “the timing of semiconductor shipments and other supply chain delays.” By the end of 2022, the company intends to have the vehicles’ missing components installed and to have shipped them to dealers.
