Short biography
Yasmine was born on November 6, 1993 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She has Jordanian-Palestinian and Filipino ancestry. She grew up in Jordan but her family eventually moved to Texas. Al-Bustami earned a college degree in finance, but she decided to pursue an acting career instead. After a few minor appearances in several films, she scored a role as Monique Deveraux in the TV series The Originals.
After that, she appeared on Orbital Redux, The chosen, and you understand me. Announced in late 2022, she’s starring as Lucy in the NCIS spin-off, but there have been rumors that Yasmine will be temporarily leaving the show soon. Hopefully this change is really only temporary.
