ZF Cubix goes into series production in the Lotus Eletre
The driving dynamics software Cubix (company spelling: cubiX) from ZF is now going into series production for the first time in the Lotus Eletre. It controls all chassis functions such as brakes, front and rear axle steering and active roll stabilization as well as the electric drive of the new sports car in one control unit.
The platform is compatible with various actuators such as dampers, brakes or rear axle steering – regardless of the manufacturer or the specific design. This gives manufacturers the flexibility to implement different model series with one and the same control platform without additional integration effort. Updates or upgrades of the software can be done “over the air”. Further series launches of the software are already planned. (awm)
