Stellantis plans to build manufacturing in South Africa

Stellantis wants to set up vehicle production in South Africa. A corresponding declaration of intent was signed with the responsible state authorities. The production facility is to be built in a special economic zone and be completed in the year after next. Stellantis aims to sell one million vehicles in Africa and the Middle East by the end of the decade. 70 percent of it should come from regional production. (awm)
