Refueling is becoming more expensive again – Auto-Medienportal.Net

Fuel prices are currently picking up again. As the ADAC reports, a liter of Super E10 costs 1.781 euros on average nationwide, which is 2.4 cents more than a week ago. A liter of diesel went up by 2.6 cents to an average of 1.753 euros.

According to the ADAC, the reason for the price increase can be seen in part in the fact that the price of crude oil rose slightly compared to the previous week and the euro is somewhat weaker in relation to the US dollar. However, diesel drivers are likely to continue to be annoyed by the small price difference compared to petrol. The difference between the two varieties has narrowed to 2.8 cents. From a purely tax point of view, a liter of diesel at the pump should be around 20 cents cheaper than a liter of Super E10.

According to the recommendation of the ADAC, drivers should fill up their tanks in the evening. Fuel prices are particularly low between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. In the morning, on the other hand, you should avoid the petrol stations if you don’t want to pay an average of 15 cents per liter more for fuel.
