Porsche increases profit by 27 percent
Porsche has had another record year. With sales growth of 13.6 percent to 37.6 billion euros, the sports car manufacturer made a profit of 6.77 billion euros in 2022. That is 1.5 billion euros or 27.4 percent more than in 2021. Sales increased slightly by 2.6 percent to 309,884 vehicles. That is almost 8000 units more than in the previous year. A fully electric SUV, which is sportily positioned above the Cayenne, should further boost vehicle deliveries in the future.
For the 2022 financial year, the Executive Board will propose a dividend of one euro per ordinary share and EUR 1.01 per preferred share to the Annual General Meeting. In total, this corresponds to a profit distribution of 916 million euros. (awm)
