Mercedes-Benz upgrades the GLB

Similar to the GLA, Mercedes-Benz has also revised the GLB. The front bumper has been redesigned with optical underride protection, as well as the radiator grille and the rear. There are full LED headlights and taillights. The significantly upgraded interior offers a free-standing double screen with a seven-inch display for the instrument display and a 10.25-inch screen for infotainment. As with the GLA, two 10.25-inch wide-screen displays are available as an option.

The steering wheel is covered with leather as standard, alternatively the Artico man-made leather can be selected, which is also found as standard on the comfort seats. In the future, the basic equipment will also have the high-beam assistant, a reversing camera and the USB package. The GLB features the latest generation of the MBUX system with redesigned display styles and improved voice control. As an extra, there are specially developed mini-games.

There is a choice of four petrol and four diesel engines. The petrol engines are designed as 48-volt mild hybrids. Unlike the GLA, however, there is no plug-in hybrid. (awm)
