Ducati starts production of the new Scrambler

Ducati has started production of the new Scrambler. The series, which is run as a sub-label, has been completely renewed after more than 100,000 units. The first example built was traditionally “christened” by company boss Claudio Domenicali before all employees got to see all nine colors of the new Scrambler.

Thanks to the new tank, the customization options of the second Scrambler generation go even further. The colored part consists of a cover that can be easily replaced. In addition, the mudguards, rim stickers and headlight covers can be individually designed. The three base colors (62 Yellow, Thrilling Black and Ducati Red) are joined by six Storm Green, Rio Celeste, Tangerine Orange, Jade Green, Sparkling Blue and Velvet Red available as an accessory kit.

The new model generation is characterized by a weight reduction of four kilograms, ride-by-wire and optional quick shifter as well as riding modes, traction control and a new TFT color display. The Ducati Scrambler is available in Icon, Full Throttle and Nightshift versions. (awm)
